Who We Are
The Risen Empowerment Resource Center Incorporated is a nonprofit organization owned and founded by DAWN MARTIN. Established in January 2020, our organization is dedicated to helping women and girls feel empowered and uplifted. We are comprised of women of faith chosen to reach out to those in need of support.
We firmly believe in mentoring and reaching out to women and girls so they can feel more confident and proud of themselves. Our organization also gives back to the community by providing a resource directory, connecting resources to those in need.
Meet the Owner
REV. DAWN MARTIN
Reverend Dawn Martin is an Associate Minister at the Omega Baptist Church where she serves under the leadership of Pastor Joshua Ward. Dawn has received her BA in Human Services and currently has a Masters in Human Service and a second Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Reverend Martin currently is the founder of Just Dazzlind Productions, Diva By Design Ministries, and Girl Empowered and Mentored to Success (G.E.M.S) which is a complete Educational and Success tool for women, girls and teenaged young ladies. Her plan is to develop long lasting partnerships to help create a better world. Her goal is to uplift, enhance, motivate, and celebrate women and girls.
Dawn is pleased to say that the public has fully embraced her purpose and has opened its doors for more information. The newly published author of Fill My Cup-Transitioning to your Purpose, My Morning Cup (Women's Journal) and My Cup Is Half Full (Teen Girls Journal), I Am (Journal to Positive Speaking), and Creating the Man (Teen Boys Journal). Dawn continues to share her life's journey, personally and professionally, as she helps others recognize their life's purpose.
Dawn Martin hopes that all will join her in the development, enhancement, motivation and education of those building success.

Our Mission
The Mission of
THE RISEN EMPOWERMENT RESOURCE CENTER INCORPORATED is to serve a conduit between community and those they serve. We also provide services that focus on the betterment of women and girls in underserved communities.
"REACHING UP AND GIVING BACK" is our main vision. Many of us need to learn that "REACHING UP" is not a sign of weakness but a GRIP FOR STRENGTH, and once you're there make sure you always "GIVE BACK!"
OUR VISION
Our vision includes a world where all women and girls have an equal right to achieve ALL they dare to dream. We see a future for young ladies to complete college and pursue career choices if that's their choice. We see a future of girls becoming advocates for issues that pertain to their own empowerment. We see a future for women coming out of incarceration with housing stability and second chance opportunities to these same dreams. Finally we see, many types of training programs that promote financial stability and career advancement for ALL.
